Aglio Olio Peperoncino Spaghetti Pasta

  1. Spaghetti Pasta
  2. Olive oil (or olio)
  3. Water
  4. Parmesan cheese (grated)
  5. Salt
  6. Black Pepper
  7. Red Chilli (Peperoncino) flakes or whole chillis crushed
  8. 4-5 Garlic cloves (or aglio)
  9. Mushrooms (optional): julienned
  10. Onions (optional): julienned
  11. Parsley Flakes or italian seasoning



  1. Bring 4 cups of water to boil with salt in a pan.
  2. Add Spaghetti and cook for 9-10 mins or till just al-dante.
  3. Drain out all the water once the pasta is cooked. Keep aside and toss with a tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Take a pan and put 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Do not heat the oil too much. Olive oil heats very quickly.
  5. Add thinly sliced garlic, mushrooms and onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add red chilli flakes, salt (to taste), black pepper powder (to taste) and italian seasoning or parsley flakes.
  7. Add the spaghetti in the sauce.
  8. Toss the pasta and mix well.
  9. Add some grated parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Serve hot.
